Request deletion by email
You can request deletion even if you have uninstalled COEXR or cannot sign in.
- Email support@coexr.com, preferably from the email address registered to your COEXR account.
- Use the subject COEXR account and data deletion request and include your account email. Tell us you want both your account and associated personal data deleted.
- Complete any ownership verification we request. If you no longer have access to your account email, tell us so we can help verify your request another way.
We complete verified requests within 30 days of verification and confirm the outcome by email. If an exception applies to any retained information, we explain what is kept, why and for how long.
The button above opens your email app with a draft. You must send the email to submit your request. If it does not open, write to support@coexr.com directly. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes or identity documents in your initial email.
Close your account in the app
- Open COEXR and go to Profile → Account management → Delete account.
- Select Send deletion confirmation code.
- Enter the six-digit code sent to your account email, then select Permanently delete account.
This closes your account and signs you out. Unfinished workouts you host are cancelled, and your places in unfinished joined workouts are released.
Account closure initially archives your records. To request erasure of archived personal data as well, use the email request above.
Personal data your request covers
Your account and personal-data deletion request covers information associated with your account, including:
- Account and profile: account identifiers, email address, name, phone number, date of birth, gender and profile photo.
- Preferences and location: workout interests, discovery settings, saved profile address or area and device-location records.
- Devices and sessions: notification tokens, device registrations and sign-in session records. Active access is revoked when the account is closed.
- Contributions: photos and other personal content you uploaded, and identifying information linked to your hosted or joined workouts.
These details are erased or anonymised within the period below, except for the limited retained records we disclose. Closing an account is permanent; a later registration does not restore it.
Data we keep and for how long
- Archived personal data and backups — up to 30 days after verification. The erasure process covers archived account, profile, location, preferences, device and uploaded personal-content records, including associated backup copies.
- Anonymised shared workout history — no fixed time limit. Completed session history can remain for other participants after personal identifiers and your uploaded personal content are removed. Previous display names are included in the erasure request.
- Administrative audit records — retained indefinitely. Limited records of administrative and security actions are kept for security and accountability. They may include account identifiers, the administrator involved, actions and timestamps. This is an exception to the 30-day erasure period.
- Legal obligations and active safety or fraud investigations — until the obligation or investigation ends. Where necessary, we retain only the relevant information, restrict its use and explain the reason and applicable retention period in our response.
